Book Creation Coaching

Who it's for:
First-time authors sorting through their mess of complex ideas about what should go in their book. They don't know how to prioritize everything they might write about, including what to elaborate on or cut out (and maybe save for another publication). Book production consulting helps them work through everything that might be appropriate to include and focus on what will be a good fit for the first book they put their name and face on.
How it works:
Meet with Gregory weekly to talk about your vision for your book. He will probe you with targeted coaching and consulting questions that get to the heart of what you're motivated to communicate. He will interview you on the subjects you need to cover in your book. After each session, Gregory will send you a transcript of what you said, lightly edited to contain just the parts eligible to become book content through further editing, revision, and expansion. It's the quickest way to populate the first draft of a book and go from blank page to finished manuscript.

Drafting and Editing
Make a work-in-progress publishable for public eyes.
Who it's for:
Writers who already have a very clear idea of what they want to say. You may have even already written a significant amount. Hey, maybe you even have your rough draft done. What you need now is to polish and refine it to the point that it reads like something you expect to find in a professionally published book. You need the help of a mind qualified to understand your perspective as intimately as you do and finish what you started.
How it works:
Send your work-in-progress draft to and meet with Gregory to discuss your goals for your book. Gregory will proceed through each stage of improving and expanding your manuscript, getting your approval all along the way so that it never strays from your vision. When the time is right, we can open it to feedback from curated beta-readers representing the book's target audience. The final step is proofreading to eliminate any lingering errors and bring it up to perfectionist standards. Identity Publications uses no algorithms or AI to replace the unique skill and insight of human creators in its writing and editing.

Publishing on Amazon
Prepare a finished manuscript for release through channels like Amazon, Audible, and Ingramspark.
Who it's for:
Your manuscript has reached the state in which you want the world to see it. It's been edited, both developmentally and line by line. You've tested your work in front of live beta-readers who did their best to tear it down. All typos and errors have been obliterated. All that's left now is the surprisingly arduous process of preparing it for publication—formatting the text for print and e-book, designing an appropriate cover, and even getting the audiobook narrated. Essentially, we optimize the author's appearance on the market. Then comes the book launch.
How it works:
Send your completed manuscript to Gregory and discuss your vision for its brand presence. Together, you will uncover the right combination of title, subtitle, cover, description, and other presentation elements to solidify its position on the market. You'll find the best way to prepare each book format and ensure it gets received as intended. Other promotional options, like gathering authentic reader reviews, can be discussed when the book is ready to launch.
